At high tide, Girl’s Bank blurs the line between land and sea—driftwood trees hovering, light stretching, everything just slightly surreal
From behind the lens, it usually starts with, “ok trust me…there’s a method to the madness.” Then it’s wading into the water, climbing into trees, stepping onto weathered fishing boats—
And then down the road hen you see the photos it suddenly it all makes sense and was completely worth it.

FIELD NOTES:
Some wedding details are planned. Others arrive. For the groom, birds have long appeared during life’s most meaningful moments since his father’s passing. As the Bride and Groom exchanged vows, a seagull floated above the ceremony, staying close for nearly the entire time.
And this moment also answered a frequent question asked of : Do you ever cry at weddings?

Harbour Island has its signatures—Some days, the horses just appear along the shoreline, moving quietly through the surf–unplanned, unbothered, and completely iconic—the kind of moment you don’t create, just recognize when it’s already perfect.
